A little guidance.

Enable sound, then try one tap. Wait for the visual response before trying a drag or a hold. Give the environment a little time without touching the screen.

Choose 30 seconds, 60 seconds or manual stop in recording settings. Toolbars hide during capture while the FERMENTAL wordmark remains. To stop a manual recording, hold the FERMENTAL wordmark for about one second. Videos are saved on your device; you choose where to share them.

Check the app’s sound setting, device and headphone volume, and Bluetooth output. If the issue persists, contact us with your device model, iOS version and the steps that led to it.

Use Settings → Getting started → Backup & restore. Restoring replaces the current culture and journal. Recorded videos are not included in a backup, so keep those separately.

Available plans and prices appear in the app. Apple manages subscriptions through your Apple ID. Restore purchases from Pro plans in Settings. Cancel or change your plan using Apple’s subscription management page.

Camera, location and notifications are optional. Change permissions in iOS Settings. Choose English or Japanese and a dark or ivory canvas in the app’s settings.
